Forecasting the Hanami Sakura / Cherry Blossom 2011 season for Nikko Japan based solely on some photographs from last year, gives us;

April 11 to April 22 was a particularly beautiful time for Sakura / Cherry Blossoms in the area near the hostel.  As the dates change year to year, this year’s peak could be anytime between April 9 to April 25.
