We have rental bikes.

…a particularly beautiful time for Sakura / Cherry Blossoms in the area…
The road is quite a unique road to ride and drive on. Most of it is rather wide with bike paths & sidewalks with trees often between them and the road itself. There are also many water towers, stations, shrines, statues and historical points.
Yumoto Onsen is the end of the line in Oku-Nikko — a sulfuric hot spring at 1,470 m where Senjogahara, Lake Yu, and Shirane Mountain trails converge. Day bathing available without a stay.
Yu Waterfall (you’ll see it written as both Yutaki and Yudaki) is nestled right…
Ryuzu Waterfall (Dragon’s Head) is Nikko’s most photographed waterfall and the hiking hub for Senjogahara, Takayama, and Lake Sai. In October koyo season it’s the single most dramatic view in Nikko National Park.
