There is vegan restaurant in nikko…but, passers by may not even notice the quaint one under the “Oriental Fine Arts” sign.  It is run by a nice Japanese couple.

It’s about a 5 minute walk from Shinkyo bridge and a 20 minute walk from JR Nikko or Tobu Nikko stations. It’s relatively small restaurant, so I recommend stopping in and making a reservation for later in the day.
