On the southern coast of Lake Chuzenji is the main sightseeing spot for many reasons. The Italian Embassy Park by itself is a worthy destination, and with the magnificent views of Mt. Nantai and Lake Chuzenji makes it extra nice.
The bonus is that there are picnic tables and benches on the beach for those packing lunch…or just a comfortable place to actually sit down on a chair. We visited on a rainy day.
