JR Nikko Station

JR Nikko station opened in the year 1890 and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Nearby Oya stone was used in the construction.  If you would like to see what Oya stone looks like, we use it as a wall in our garden across the street.

The Unesco World Heritage area is 1.8km uphill from the station, so take the bus if it is cold or raining.
