From the southern beginning of Nikko National Park where Shinkyo Bridge and the gate to Toshogu shrine, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to walk and hike to the peak of Toyama. Round trip takes about an hour and a half to two hours.

The name will vary depending on where you look; To Mountain, Soto Mountain, Toyama, and Sotoyama.
